It took me a couple years to figure out access, then another to refine my approach - I now know how to get to, and take advantage of the finest spring-fed native trout fishery in the lower 48. Artificial, barbless, catch-and-release. The fish in this picture was as big as my forearm.

Road Trip - South along Eastern Sierra, LA, return via 101 - Paso Robles, Ben Lomond, Clayton
First, camped at Likely, Ca. and whacked a golf ball around.
Then camped at June Lake ....
Quick find - Hot Springs off of 395 ...
Onward to the incomparable Alabama Hills at the base of Mt. Whitney. Literally blown away as a thunderstorm blew over Sierras and us...
Then to UCLA with Lauren to attend Marian's Residency graduation where over a couple of days I managed to take no pics ......
Back North on 101 camping at Franklin Hot Springs ....
