I missed Summer completely. I had been getting progressively more tired and run down. Figured I just needed to up my physical activity. Upshot: Abdomen pain; helicopter to Reno hospital; Diverticulitis resulting in exploded large intestine, liver abscess and subsequent abdominal abscess. Three surgeries and got to confront mortality. 109 days in the hospital.
I'm alright now. Still working on strength, but moving around and soon to take my annual Pacific Beach southern drive (though no camping this year). Son of a bitch. I got that going for me.
